Krauterhaus Sanct Bernhard Omega 3 Fish Oil Lemon delivers a concentrated source of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) in a convenient liquid format. Each maximum daily serving of 12 ml provides a minimum of 3300 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, including 1980 mg EPA and 1320 mg DHA, making it straightforward to achieve a meaningful daily intake. The addition of lemon essential oil gives the oil a clean, fresh flavour that makes it easy to incorporate into cold foods and drinks.
DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and the maintenance of normal vision. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. These are authorised health claims established under EU Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA for brain and vision support, and 250 mg of EPA and DHA for heart function.
The oil is produced from fish and contains 98.5% fish oil with no unnecessary additives. Because fish oil is sensitive to oxidation, the formula is designed for use with cold foods only — never heated — helping to preserve the quality and integrity of the fatty acids from serving to serving.
